BERGEN LEADS

Bergen LEADS is an exciting, 10-month learning and leadership adventure for adults who live or work in Bergen County. Interactive, fast-paced and experiential, Bergen LEADS will help you see your community – and yourself – through new eyes.

Beginning in September, a class of 30 men and women – aspiring and acknowledged leaders of broadly diverse backgrounds – will meet monthly to dissect issues, debate viewpoints and develop approaches to community problems. Challenging team projects allow LEADS participants to put their new-found knowledge - of the community and of themselves as leaders - to work, while tackling critical issues facing the community.

The Bergen LEADS experience doesn’t end with the seminar year. LEADS alumni stay informed and connected through special alumni events, forums and other networking vehicles. Alumni will also be called upon to share their expertise as speakers, panel members or site visit hosts, as well as mentors and coaches to project teams.

The Bergen LEADS experience begins with the desire to learn more about Bergen County and how you can make it a better place to live and work, and the experience does not end. If you have the time and energy to invest in yourself and your community, then we urge you to become a part of Bergen LEADS.
